On April 20, I had a biopsy of a thyroid nodule. It was positive for papillary carcinoma. I will attempt to maintain this site to answer all the frequently asked questions about this condition and keep everyone posted on what is happening. CLICK ON APRIL, THEN FAQs FOR ALL THE DETAILS!
There is still 20% chance that the "canceros" nodule will turn out to be benign after removal; best of luck!!
ReplyDeleteAre you throwing a goodbye party for it ?
ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure that it is only with a diagnosis of follicular carcinoma that there is the ambiguity of a biopsy result, and mine is pappilary. Of course, I haven't read EVERY web site yet, so I hope this is true. As my doctor said, "your outcome would probably not change anyway." (It is still a great cure rate).
